Defense matters. For those who still actually pay attention to errors, that ground ball to Lee is why pitcher's ERA is no longer a reasonable stat, less than RBI. Then Caratini follows it up with a slow release on McGonigle running but he got a poor jump.

Completely agree. Outman would be gone tonight - I would give Lee a chance until may and if there is no improvement it would culpepper time.

Wallner has a big arm but a slow release, which means teams almost always run on him.

Ground ball found the hole, cold night, a ton of pitches, and this is not good for Ryan.
