Partially hopeful - curious if a Larnach deal is in the works

Would help the outfield log jam and maybe he can be packaged to get us some sort of reliable righty reliever type.🤞

Alas…Leach and Nightengale reporting:

Trevor Larnach scratched due to "left side soreness." He's considered day to day and will be re-evaluated tomorrow.

They must have really crappy mattresses in Ft Myers

The IL would fulfill the same purpose, at a higher cost

That boy is all control and no command.  😆

Command is the authority to set goals and give orders, while control is the process of verifying and adjusting activities to ensure those objectives are met

. Command dictates what to do, whereas control is the mechanism that ensures the action is carried out effectively. Command is about exercising authority; control is about regulating performance.

I am okay with it in ST games. Don't like it though.

Now things can change, But, how long was Wallner at .08x last year before they sent him down; NOW,  Lewis is headed for the Wallner line in Spring Training.

Nobody else is playing well enough to force that move.

I am there with you. In fact I am not a fan of any sports interviews. They are all full of cliche questions with stupid obvious answers.

Wallner wasnt "sent down" last year.

He had a 6 game injury rehab in late May at ST Paul returning from about 5 weeks on the IL.

Orze pitching his way off the opening day roster, or has that already been decided?

There was probably a reason why the Rays gave him up for almost nothing... he gets a spot because we are low on RH relievers, but might not get that much rope.

That's valid. But Lewis has been awful at the plate. And Jeffers. Really would like to see at least some signs of life from our so called Core.

When they stole 2nd base back to back, Jeffers had a defeatist look on his face. I'm worried he really wished the trade rumors would have come true.

Pablo needs to have a talk with this guy. If anyone should be defeatist it's him.
