Twins in the news and update pressers

Do we collectively just not care anymore here? Surprised to see little to no comments on Falvey and Zoll's presser today. Nothing was said, but I thought this could serve as a launch paid for future say nothing pressers?

I visited my doctor last week, told her all my symptoms, how bummed I was about the Twins, how much I hate the Pohlads, Falvey, etc… so she gave me the pills.

i didn’t know they were anti-depresserants but I’m so glad they worked!

It says a lot about this team that no one posted about it. More of the same in Twins Territory: empty statements, unfulfilled promises. Why *should* anyone care about this presser?

Agreed, and just wanted to give the lack of content the airing it deserved.

I did watch it, and I did post about it in another thread and I disagree that nothing was said there. Falvey's exchange with Darren Wolfson was telling:

Darren Wolfson: "OK so why fire him?"

Falvey: "That's a good question Doogie. Uh that's a conversation that works directly with ownership uh and ultimately a collaborative conversation for the right reasons to make the change."

Dissecting that word salad says that the decision was made by ownership, not Falvey.

If a largely hands-off ownership truly is the one telling the POBO to fire the manager, that has to be an encouraging sign about the POBO's lack of job security.

The organization is probably in too much of a mess right now to look for a new POBO; maybe if Dave St. Peter still had the job Falvey would have also been replaced. But at least this possibly means if or when things are settled with ownership, more change is on the table if things aren't looking better.

Yep, I agree. Rocco has always been Falvey's guy and I bet he still believes in him despite the evidence we have to the contrary. The Pohlads made this move to do something the fans want and make them feel like they're moving in the right direction.
