True, that. However, I should note that Jenkins played the hop off the wall very nicely. The Toledo fence has a couple corners in the alleys and Jenkins adjusted to get the carom properly.

That was godawful baserunning from Gasper. You play that halfway every time. You're not tagging if it's caught. 

Once it bounces that high, you score standing up.

It seems to me that the Twins need to do a better job teaching fundamentals in the minor leagues and, as needed, for the major leaguers. Bad baserunning decisions suggest poor coaching.

Gasper screwed the pooch on that whole inning. If he scores on Jeffers hit like he should have, Goes halfway he is rounding the bag off the bounce. Martin shouldn't have been running it, he should have went halfway too.

Doesn't excuse Martin on the next hitter but Gasper's brain dead baserunning was at least as egregious.

Wrong, The ball hit by Jeffers had a very good chance of being caught, runner goes part way as there is no advance if he catches it. Quit being angry and use some sense every once in awhile, not every play is wrong. Martin was, however, wrong on the Lee line drive
