Best odds out of Vegas seem to disagree:
Twins: +115
Jays:  -137

Ryan will hold his own but the pen will cave.

Ah, whoops.

I just can’t take listening to how great these offenses we are facing are, whether it’s the A’s, White Sox, Jays… they are all great…. Should be able to easily get a lineup put together, seems everyone else has.

I wonder if rocco or front office ever sat down with Ryan after the deadline trades and talked to him about a lost season but he Ryan still had lots to play for , Like a Cy young award  ....

He definitely hasn't been Joe Ryan since the deadline  .....

The Yankees game was his swansong

We should hire the blue jays hitting coach

Decreasing trade value 📉

Increasing odds of staying 📈

He is the complete opposite of Brian Dozier. Dozier was ice cold until June then he would go on a tear for 3 months.

I wonder if TC "hitters" could manhandle TC pitchers like other teams do

He had 2-3 great outings after the deadline. Seems you are having a recency bias.

Agreed. We will find out if he ends up in the low or high 3s. Things aren’t trending well for him lately

I'm starting to think that TBA guy wasn't half bad.

The unprovable enigma. My guess is the hitting is so piecemeal that any pitcher beside Chris Paddack would have an ERA under 3.

Has Joe checked out?

Won't help him long run.

Bet a phantom IL trip is forthcoming.

The entire team isn’t trending in the right direction. I can’t imagine how difficult it would be to get fired up to play for this current team. Falvey and Rocco have to go…. There needs to be a fresh start next season. Hopefully Toronto feels sorry for us and let’s off by the 5th inning.

Defense is an idea that is rejected by the Twins, which makes evaluating the pitchers nearly impossible.

When I watch Ryan I see a dejected guy. We can'y know what is going on within the clubhouse. The team looks uninterested.

Playing out the string, which is crazy considering how few of them are certain to return next season. An interim manager would probably have helped a bit in the enthusiasm department at least. A fresh voice in the clubhouse is badly needed
