You guys are insane with these 8-10 minute boiling times for corn on the cob.

Is it shucked?

Might make a difference.

And worst case boiling is... steaming, And i bet that is acceptable. Oerhaps even its own thing.

I didn't know we were going to argue over how to boil corn on the cob though ...

No argument here, I don't boil corn on the cob...

What's a win ,

How was the corn  , I forgot to mention that you can add sugar or salt in your water  , try either and see which one you like better , I prefer the salt  , if it's young tender corn  , if it's big milky kernels add sugar to sweetener it up

It was good. I did about 4-5 minutes

back it goes... deep it goes...  Sounds like something Ron Jeremy said in the 70s.

I can't abide the guy, always have the oppo broadcast teams on.

I have no qualms with Ron Jeremy. Considering how prolific he is, i guess he must be doing something right.

He overdoes it....too much time in the radio booth. Someone needs to tell him that he is no longer explaining the plays to Gladden and the audience can now SEE the game.

You might want to have some qualms about ol’ Ronny

I read that boiling corn in milk will change your life.  Something about the fat in milk.  Never tried it.

Interesting  , never tried that ...

Corns already milky , if the kernels are young and small it could work , but the bigger the kernels the more milkier the kernels  ...

Maybe someday this summer I'll try it ...

What about peaches and cream?

Never heard of that one...I had 🍓 and cream when I went to Wimbledon which is a staple at the tourney

My first reaction to that was ewww, but now that I think about it, it kinda makes sense.  You put butter on corn, and butter and milk are, like, cousins or something.

I did not grow up on a farm

Peaches and cream sweet corn is the best! Maybe it needs too long of a growing season for you Norsks updere.

Highly recommended with us Iowegians!
