If they want to try that strategy on a 29 year old desperately looking to get back into MLB, sure. It makes zero sense to me taking a 24 year old out of developing as a SP for this crap.

He has been a consistent strike thrower for the Saints. If he doesn't let his nerves get in the way and walk people he should be OK. I mean this is every single kids dream that played baseball to make it to the big leagues. I hope he soaks  it all in, enoys the moment, has fun and plenty of has friends and family on hand and pitches well. Block out the crowd and pitch kid, you gotta zone in and listen to your teamates. Give em hell the Red Sox that is and pitch well Mr. Ohl and welcome to the SHOW!

The Red Sox have better players......I'm not sure what the Twins best lineup is, frankly. With Buxton and Jeffers out, there aren't that many sure fire MLB players on the roster (not starting Bader was odd).

Then Falvey should have been fired three years ago.  If the players are not good enough they should be trying to upgrade the talent, not signing a Ty France.

That's a different argument, and I'm not disagreeing (though I'm not sure 3 years ago).

Lee needs regular AB's and when you have France starting over him, you just wonder what is the direction.

Not really surprised about Buxton, but it is still disappointing.

These are excellent questions. It does not appear there is a consistent strategy here.
