Surprised to see Ryan out of the game already. Pitch count was getting up there, but I thought he had another inning in him.

We're in the midst of a mini-typhoon, so took an opportunity to get the doggy out between showers.  Had the Pirates radio on the headphones for all the festivities in the fourth.  Oh, man were they giving it to Willy and Wally both.  And deservedly so.  But also praising Bux, for breaking up that double play, and covering for Wally and making the play close at the plate.

Then, of course, as far away from home as we could be, the skies opened up again, and we got doused! 😂  Fortunately, only one of us got our hair wet!

Announcers hypothesized he thought it had hit off his foot, so was a foul ball.

1st game of series.  Starter at 83 pitches and getting quicker outs.  Day game tomorrow.  Rocco says good time to use 4-5 relief pitchers

Sadly enough, I made this point in yesterday's thread.  When these players (Castro) see your supposed leaders (Correa) not running out at bats, it becomes contagious.  Combine that with a players-centric manager that seems hands-off with things like this, and you get a recipe for apathy.  Sorry this is late, I was waiting to see if something was going to happen to Castro, whether he was hurt, or potentially taken out of the game.

EDIT:  Kudos to Lewis for running out of the box on an excuse me swing.
