I hope he shines and the bats keep hot. We have a reasonably fresh pen but have to keep in mind Cleveland come to town Monday

Peter Verified Member Posted May 18, 2025 Posted May 18, 2025 Total domination last night!!! Kinda nervous about today but we are 26-20 2nd place and #1 wild card!!! Keep winning and continue winning streak into this week!!! Old Crow 1
DJL44 Verified Member Posted May 18, 2025 Posted May 18, 2025 Kody Clemens now has the highest OPS on the team (min 35 plate appearances). Jeffers has enjoyed hitting against Milwaukee. The Brewers are a fun team to watch. They're fast, play great defense and play hard.

Surely credit gets offered as equally as blame..... Great streak in the face of adversity. Grade on Rocco for the streak: 85-90% as awful as he was 3 weeks ago. Small helping of crow... Patzky 1

Well, I'll give you credit for consistency and guts. Most of the rest of the choir is hiding under their bridge waiting for the first loss to crawl out again and spam the board with their takes. Kudos for at least some form of integrity in your opinions. Patzky 1

Potentially, (a stretch) one of those two guys are right by mid-August and able to contribute, if needed. They sent Wallner down 297 plate AAA late appearances last year and he struggled the first 6-7 weeks at that level. Give them a long stretch and I think at least one will contribute to this team. Eddie has been down for some time with pretty brief high points. I was sold on Bride as the eventual 13th guy until Keaschall would/could come back in a couple more months - Clemens though, has shown some Pop and has better position versatility! jorgenswest and Patzky 2

There might be hope for him yet) & scrape through enough runs to win. & they did more than that. Hitting a bunch of HR when you don't need them isn't a good one. The only negative thing I have is Watkins sending Lee home with nobody out. Until recently, Watkins only duty was to slap the players on the butt after they hit a HR. Watkins needs to know each player's running proficiency & when to send players. He seems lost out there. It is one of those jobs when you really only notice the failures. Is there any data to suggest that the Twins are thrown out more at home for the outfield more than the typical team. I guess we would also need data on missed opportunities. Teams that never get caught are probably missing opportunities to score. I don’t disagree that you keep him at third yesterday with no outs on a likely close play. I strongly disagree that he generally looks lost out there. stringer bell 1

LambchoP Verified Member Posted May 18, 2025 Posted May 18, 2025 Can't believe we're doing this with an IL list of Buxton, Correa, Wallner, Keaschal, Coloumbe, now Castro beat up. Once we start getting these guys back and get everyone healthy and playing together, this could be a real fun lineup to watch, especially if Keaschal picks up where he left off and if Mccusker can be a true power threat:) Patzky 1

Not impressive. Each year, he was given more regular ABs with some improvement, but still not impressive. It took him 440 PA in 171 games, 4 yrs., 3 teams & more regular ABs with MN to finally become a pretty good MLBer. Keirsey has a career 62 PAs in 42 games spread out over 2 years. I confess that Keirsey often looks overwhelmed at the plate, but almost any hitter would with sparse ABs, especially somebody who's green. This season, every time Keirsey was given regular ABs (at least 2 games in a row), Keirsey has gotten timely hits. I hope he's able get more adjusted due to this opportunity
