I keep hearing about a guy named Topa.

Must be the invisible man, because no one has seen him.

I'll add on to my earlier comment, it's hard to win ballgames when 60% of your starters are bad and all but 1 of your relievers can't pitch under any modicum of pressure.

They needed to add a starter last winter. Everyone knew it. They did nothing. They needed to add a starter at the deadline. They did nothing.

Guy that's pitching for the Reds tonight, Martinez, would be a perfect signing this offseason, but they won't do it and we'll dig ourselves a hole the first few months of games trotting SWR/Festa/Matthews out there

I blame inter-league play.  If they hadnt messed with the schedule could have played the ChiSux 19 times.

6 more wins against the White Sox just means they would have lost 6 more games to the Guardians.

I listened to the whole 3rd inning, took a break, and just tuned back in... what the heck.

Varland has certainly flunked my expectations this year. Thought he could be a passable #5 starter, failed, then thought he could be a decent one inning reliever. So far, no dice!

Interesting….they just highlighted Correa’s shoes and they are New Balance as opposed to Nike.

He also needed De La Cruz to help him get up

Yeah I heard that today too.

Also they are like 18 sizes larger than his actual feet so there is some serious doctoring happening in there.

Not to mention Correa clearly looks like his mind is on his feet.

It's not just the pitching. There's zero emotion or energy. They look like a group playing out the string. Changes need to be made. Front office, dugout, roster.

The Walking Dead except those zombies have more energy.

This is pathetic.

Reds are 5 games under .500 in a bad division and they're thoroughly better than us.

I'm a friend of some diehard Reds fans and one of their biggest complaints lately has been their difficulties in scoring runs.

Sure could have fooled me!  They're not having any problems at all thus far in the series.

I think it's about time we give up this charade of trying to be a playoff team because, right now, we're not even remotely close to that level.  And I just don't see our fortunes changing for the better before the end of this season.

Who'd have thought a team so expertly constructed as to rely on Manuel Margot and absolutely no pitching depth would fail down the stretch? No one could have seen this coming if we're being honest.

I could swallow it, if it meant fewer runs next game.

So you'd trade 17 runs for the Reds tonight for the Twins being shutout tomorrow?

I'm not sure we are watching the same team here.
