Parfigliano Verified Member Posted September 14, 2024 Posted September 14, 2024 It would really help if SWR could card a couple 10 pitch innings
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted September 14, 2024 Posted September 14, 2024 Some of you may know I'm, shall we say, getting up there in years. It's no fun, let me tell you. I had a good friend pass away recently, with many of his and my friends gathered around. He needed blood, but we didn't know what to give him. He went out like a champion though. Even as he slipped away, he kept telling us, over and over, to be positive. What a guy. Jerr, Parfigliano, Hosken Bombo Disco and 1 other 1 3

Oh i just assumed it was the elimination (or magic) number. Hence my comment. But looks like it is 13? (for Detroit, or less for other teams)
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted September 14, 2024 Posted September 14, 2024 You cannot throw change up 2-2 and breaking ball 3-2 unless you can for sure throw them for strikes. Uffda. Jocko87 1
Jocko87 Verified Member Posted September 14, 2024 Posted September 14, 2024 Summary of mound visit. Don't throw that pitch Alcala did. MMMordabito and USAFChief 2
exeoud Verified Member Posted September 14, 2024 Posted September 14, 2024 It's hard to win ballgames when 60% of your rotation gives you a mediocre to bad start every time out Patzky 1

CRF Verified Member Posted September 14, 2024 Posted September 14, 2024 SWR won't be in there too much longer, but he battled to get out of that inning.
exeoud Verified Member Posted September 14, 2024 Posted September 14, 2024 Nice job SWR, but let's not give up hits to the 8 and 9 batters next time Jerr and Parfigliano 2

Did kinda feel like that blocking they were calling at second base early in the season though. Haven't heard much of that in quite a while. For good reason IMO.
Patzky Old-Timey Member Posted September 15, 2024 Posted September 15, 2024 Couldn't even fill up my ice water and the inning is over.
