WIth no game on last night, Mrs Chief and I settled in to watch a flick on Netflix. I wanted to watch "The Hunt For Red October."

But Mrs Chief put the kibosh on that. "I can't stand movies with sub titles," she said.

Paddack threw like a relief pitcher in the ninth inning after the first two guys reached. Don't know if he can sustain that.

That's why I think it's a good idea to give a young pitcher, or in this case any pitcher, stints as relievers like the twins did last year with Paddack and Varland. They may gain some skills to use in sticky situations. Some of the best pitchers like Verlander are able to switch gears during starts. Was hoping this might really help Varland as a starter this year.

Exactly….. but what ticks me off, is when I start talking to myself and then about half way through, I discover I wasn’t even listening to myself, so then I have to start over.🤷‍♂️
