Good for Vazquez. On the worst pitch he got, too. Watch the pitches in the zone, and swing at the one way out of the zone 0-2 and get RBI contact. Good job.

Nice job CV.

Team has really been so much better at making contact and getting runs home with less than two outs. Kepler's at bat last night was awesome. Kopech was hitting triple digits consistently and Kep came through with two strikes.

Professional at bat by Vazquez.  Flexen made his pitches the first two times, and our guy correctly guessed on the waste pitch and put it in play,.  Given the defensive alignment, a sure run.  Once you're 0-2, that's about the best outcome possible.

It's funny.  The Twins have a higher than average age (weighted by plate appearances) for their batters, but they're being treated like young'uns.
