I am all for optimism but I can see why twins fans feel this is over. It looks like this is game 2 of batting practice and we still can’t hit.

Did we as fans ever get an explanation for why ownership cut payroll this year? I feel like fans deserve at least a reason for cutting payroll given we are the largest source of revenue. Also, fans have more power than one would think given this dynamic - wish we could find a way to influence ownership to spend more money..

Like, ownership wants to make more money from the Twins, or they want to cut dollars ear-marked for the Twins to put towards other more profitable ventures? I get it you may not know, it just seems so tone deaf for the Pohald's to cut payroll after the year the Twins had, and not even explain anything to the fans. I get it, they don't care about fans, but they should because we line their pockets.

The explanation was the loss of TV revenue due to the issue with the Bally Sports contract.
