The whole thing is baffling. He is a boat anchor on the DH role.

Working from memory, but I think he is 1-28 with 18 Ks in his last 28 attempts. Gladden says Baldelli told Buxton that "he has to work it out." Gladden agrees with that!

Drop him to the 8 or 9 spot if you are going to employ that. Better yet, put him on the IL and let the team rip it loose with a youth drive.
