Pretty good report card for Levine and company.  Not a single position player All Star.  I know the voting is skewed but not the players named.  I would say that is a D or F.

To be honest, it’s probably a good message to have only one All-Star. Personally, I’d have rather seen Duran chosen and not Gray, but Sonny has been excellent so far this year.

Duran has an elite fastball, but converting 12 of 15 save opportunities is probably below average. Clase is having a bad season and Duran definitely should have been ahead of Clase. Ryan and Ober had a good cases too but young guys usually have to take a back seat.

Win the World Series and Rocco can take as many Twins pitchers as he wants next year!

Congrats Sonny. Maybe your selection drives up your trade value a bit on the margin.

We had so many position players who were so close to being named to the squad…….they just missed out.  What a joke.

Congrats to Sonny Gray. It should help him in his free agency contract coming up. Ryan probably selected if he would have had a respectable outing against the Braves after the shutout instead of the disaster. 
 

Congrats to Arraez and Cano! No room for all-stars on our team. We are better with Lopez squared. Have faith Twins Territory. Even though the rest of baseball can’t see it, it has to be true. Maybe Cano can extend his dominant run for more than 3 months. 

Congrats to Brent Rooker, too. Somebody from Oakland had to be selected, May as well be Rooker.

Definitely a bummer to not see Ryan and/or Duran get the nod, but what can we really expect from a team that struggles to stay above .500? Those teams don't generally have a whole bunch of guys making the all star team.
