Both Farmer and Kepler reacted very poorly on that carom off of the concrete. Kepler has played outstanding defense out there and made an uncharacteristically poor judgment. Farmer should have been on a dead run as soon as that ball hit the wall. Kirilloff has to be the cutoff.

Concerning Buxton, I slipped on some over Easter and injured/bruised my ribs and occasionally they will hurt if I twist or move awkwardly. Granted I'm 54 and Buxton is 29, but bruised ribs are tricky!!

Lolich 376 innings pitched in 1971.  Now with better training, conditioning, nutrition, facilities, everything guys throw 180 and they are celebrated as physical freaks of nature. Its crazy.

Yeah, a guy at work got side swiped while on his bike a few weeks ago and he’s still hurting. And he’s 30

Hate to see Jorge Lopez off the 26 man but it may be good for him to get a reset right now. I'm his staunchest defender but he hasn't been reliable

Usually this happens before they release a player, from what I read. Hope he’s okay whatever the problem is

There must be something going on with Lopez, but I have no idea what. I mentioned this a couple days ago. He did something pretty strange the other night when he pitched...he caught that pop up, then ran straight to the dugout and into the tunnel...he was gone! I've never seen that happen before.

But when is he going to learn Kepler is a rally killer and does belong batting higher than eighth ...

He doesn't pinch hit for Kepler  but did against Kirilloff  when he had to face a lefthander   ,,,
