Now we get to the part of the game where it all stops making sense. Both starters are gone, and now we watch both teams play Russian Roulette with a bunch of dubious pitchers that lacked something to prevent them from being an effective starter. Flawed pitchers vs. Flawed pitchers. 

Score could now wind up 7 to 5 or something, after a 6 innings of a pitcher's duel. Odd game.
