RickOShea Verified Member Posted April 28, 2023 Posted April 28, 2023 Correa is going to have to start doing some groundwork, to help cover his pay.

RickOShea Verified Member Posted April 28, 2023 Posted April 28, 2023 If Catfish and Brian had a kid, they'd name it....................................?
LewFordLives Verified Member Posted April 28, 2023 Posted April 28, 2023 Correa 's poor offense is now affecting his defense.
RickOShea Verified Member Posted April 28, 2023 Posted April 28, 2023 If robo umps took extra time in making a call, would that be referred to as 'buffering'?

RickOShea Verified Member Posted April 28, 2023 Posted April 28, 2023 In all my years, I don't think I have ever saw Jackie Bradley, Jr. get a basehit.

Nice to see guys going first to third like that, and Gallo did a nice job legging out that double and scoring on the groundout. Yeah, I can live with almost no stolen bases, if they take the bases they can like that.

h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted April 28, 2023 Posted April 28, 2023 At the start of today's games, there were 175 batters that qualified with enough PAs to be in the Stat list of MLB. Only 4 Twins qualified, and the default stat for ordering is now OPS. You had to go to the 4th page of 7 to find the first Twin, Larnach, at #85 and .746. Taylor was the next on the 5th page of 7 at #107 and .705. Then Miranda on the 7th page, #152 at .628, and Correa at #159 of 175 and .608. No other Twins' hitters had enough PAs to even qualifiy,

wabene Verified Member Posted April 28, 2023 Posted April 28, 2023 I'm probably a little delayed, but it looks like Mahle's velo had creeped up striking out that last batter at 94. Good deal

Nine of twelve Verified Member Posted April 28, 2023 Posted April 28, 2023 That called strike was way suboptimal.

Big zone for both pitchers. I don't think the ump has missed a ball in the zone, but he's called a lot of them out of the zone.

Good deal Well Stewart is up in the bullpen so I'm worried maybe Mahle threw it too hard.
Nine of twelve Verified Member Posted April 28, 2023 Posted April 28, 2023 Wouldn't surprise me if this is Greinke's last season. And he's getting $8.5 M this year.
stringer bell Verified Member Posted April 28, 2023 Posted April 28, 2023 Correa and Buxton back-to-back. They were both due, especially CC.
