Yankees are always tough--especially for the Twins--but we are lucky to be catching them early in the year when most of their stud pitching is on the IL....

Really pulling for young Mr. Valand tonight.  GO TWINS!

This might get ugly fast.

Good composure to get out of that inning after the horrendous start.

Twins need to be patient and smart against this crafty lefty.

He's adjusted but that was looking ugly

He threw a fastball right down the middle to Cordero that was taken. I suspect unless he gets command of it things will be real ugly second time through

I've been trying to get into better shape.  My doctor recommended doing some lunges. Seems to be a big step forward.

Garlick was robbed on that AB.  Should have been 3-1, and then no need to chase the garbage low in the zone.  Should be bases loaded, no outs.

Yeah, not getting those calls in this stadium.

This guy reminds of the Twins futility vs. Buehrle.  Just tempts you into swinging at bad pitches, and the hittable ones are all yanked down the line harmlessly.  Very frustrating to watch.

Don’t do rear lunges. You risk taking a step backward.

Before Mount Rushmore was carved, the natural beauty there was unpresidented.

There is a method to the madness of inside and off speed pitches

OK, solid second inning by the young man and now the Twins need to take a deep breath, settle in, and start working this pitcher and make him throw strikes and stop chasing his pitches.
