What a great Friday!

Easy with the gratuitous cheerfulness there, champ.  We've got a struggling offense to fret about. 😉

Update: Correa WPA now -0.281. He has lost 1/4 of a game today. More than offsets Gray's excellent +0.254.

So typical of this team. Leadoff single. No attempt to move the runner along. Three guys don't hit home runs, Runner stranded at first,

I'm sorry, but this team is BORING!

Until the Twins get their bullpen issues truly sorted out, I'd rather see MLB settle extra innings with 3-on-3 field hockey.

Predictable though

I figured this team would be able to score more than 2 runs per game

Why?

How could it have gotten worse from last year. Batting champ didn’t add much 😉

Season's still very young, with plenty of time for the Twins to easily exceed that mark.

Or leave us wishing they could approach it.

They will usually...especially when Altuve gets back

5 of 7 games 2 runs or less. Hopefully that turns around because these are winnable games with a "healthy" pitching staff.

I'd feel better if Duran had a tune up outing first, after his neck strain.

He should be fine; staff told him to keep the fastball under 103.

They've had base runners in abundance it seems like, but no one can come up with a clutch hit. Uber frustrating to see last seasons RISP woes continue.

Such a wierdly managed baseball team. You don't let your fastest runner steal bases, and your 200 million dollar man grounds him into a DP and takes him off the base paths. Too proud to bunt and get him on second with 1 out. Doesn't the computer tell you that a hitter that in 1/15 against the opponent should not hit away when you need a run?

Yet they use the same computer to tell them to not let pitchers pitch and pinch hit.... go figure.

How dare they?!!...

taunting us with Pressly.

Maybe we can get a high school umpire to warn them for taunting and then start ejecting people.

FTFY.

I'd rather have seen Vazquez take the most obvious and hittable called 3rd strike in MLB history than strike out swinging at ball 4 after Press took the 3 second violation or whatever to bring it to a full count.
