h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted April 7, 2023 Posted April 7, 2023 OK Gallo. You owe us one now here.......
RickOShea Verified Member Posted April 7, 2023 Posted April 7, 2023 Rocco's moving guys around, in the line up and on defense, continues to bits us in the rear on way too many occasions.
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted April 7, 2023 Posted April 7, 2023 On pace to set the opening day record of pop ups to the infield.... All three to Hensley at first.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted April 7, 2023 Posted April 7, 2023 Boy the offense has sure gone in the tank since the first marlins game. Just getting mowed down
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted April 7, 2023 Posted April 7, 2023 There goes the perfect game and no-hitter.

h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted April 7, 2023 Posted April 7, 2023 OK Correa. Here we are. Runners in scoring position with 2 outs, early in the season.......... and..... K Is it still 2022?

K There is a reason why his Win Probability Added has been consistently below his other statistics. He doesn't get many clutch hits. Just clutch paychecks.

IndianaTwin Verified Member Posted April 7, 2023 Posted April 7, 2023 We've now entered the "switch to the opposing team radio broadcast" part of the game.
Melissa Verified Member Posted April 7, 2023 Posted April 7, 2023 I often enjoy those in-game interviews from the dugout, and I like Pablo, too. But that was so distracting during the Astros rally in the top of the third. No wonder Houston scored!

stringer bell Verified Member Posted April 7, 2023 Posted April 7, 2023 Morneau praising Gallo's defense. So far, I think he could have made a play on at least one of the two hits last inning.

And that horrible stat came up over and over and over well into the season. His no pressure when it didn't matter anymore September performance made his season look way better at the plate than it was, and what and when we needed him.
bighat Verified Member Posted April 7, 2023 Posted April 7, 2023 This team's offense is just as awful as it was last year - other teams are lighting up the box scores with these new rules, meanwhile the Twins are still stuck in "close your eyes and swing" mode and popping out or striking out 90% of the time. It's not 2019 anymore, this team needs to evolve offensively or they're going to be unwatchable.
RickOShea Verified Member Posted April 7, 2023 Posted April 7, 2023 Anyone make the Twins' breakfast this morning? Some said they had northern pike omeletes and Hamm's beer.
