(Somewhat) sober analysis. The Twins had ten hits and 15 base runners, but only scored two. Hopefully that won't continue. Rocco pressed a lot of the right buttons. Pinch hitting in the sixth worked out and the bullpen was solid.

The key play was the 3-2-4 GDP turned by Gallo, Vazquez and Gordon turned the game in their favor. 

Aggressive send on the Royals left fielder in the sixth. Glad to see Larnach score from second there. Speaking of Larnach, nice game for Trevor.

With all the carping on this thread today. You'd think the Twins lost 9-0. Early season, 4-11 with RISP while KC was 0 fer. When Twins strand runners it's poor hitting. When Twins pitchers work out of a jam it's great pitching??? It wasn't the prettiest but a wins a win. They all count
