RpR Verified Member Posted July 23, 2022 Posted July 23, 2022 It is a wonder how Schoop and Grossman last year did very well and this year, are struggling; do not say age as Cabrera is doing just the opposite this year.
Nine of twelve Verified Member Posted July 23, 2022 Posted July 23, 2022 Perkins just said about calling pitches: "All that matters is the opinion of the umpire." We need electronic pitch calling, because then all that will matter is whether the pitch went through the strike zone. As god intended.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted July 23, 2022 Posted July 23, 2022 Okay, phew, back … not sure what I’d do if I couldn’t watch JRy pitch!

Every player has a different life span … and this is Cabrera’s last year … making the most of it

jkcarew Verified Member Posted July 23, 2022 Posted July 23, 2022 Fitting that Cabrera and Pujols retire together, IMHO. Two best right handed hitters I’ve ever seen. (I saw Aaron and Mays…but they were well past their prime.) ‘Generational’ doesn’t do them justice.
wsnydes Old-Timey Member Posted July 23, 2022 Posted July 23, 2022 A stolen base? By a Twin?!? MOAR!!!!

Mortimerkenny21 Verified Member Posted July 23, 2022 Posted July 23, 2022 If Ryan gets this 3rd out soon are the gonna let him face the order 3 times?? Seems to be pitching well and getting some K's.
Mill1634 Verified Member Posted July 23, 2022 Posted July 23, 2022 The chemistry isn't there (obviously), but this PxP has been pretty dang good for a fill in.

RickOShea Verified Member Posted July 23, 2022 Posted July 23, 2022 Kepler is one of the most stubborn hitters I've ever seen. tim and time again he hits into the defensive shift. Even faling a bunt, once in a while, would open things up. He doesn't hit the ball over the fielders to keep trying to beat the shift. Not a team player from the plate.
Nine of twelve Verified Member Posted July 23, 2022 Posted July 23, 2022 OK, Joe Ryan, runner on 3 with 0 out. Let's see what you've got.
Nine of twelve Verified Member Posted July 23, 2022 Posted July 23, 2022 Hmmm. I thought the procedure was to make a challenge by having the pitcher come to a set and throw to 2.
cHawk Community Moderator Posted July 23, 2022 Posted July 23, 2022 What kind of ******** is going on here

rwilfong86 Verified Member Posted July 23, 2022 Posted July 23, 2022 The decision to challenge that call was questionable at best.
