Don’t really want to argue about this, but I believe he was eventually promoted to Captain. I am certain that an officer can be promoted after going into reserve status and I believe it was reported that he did receive his promotion after his wife received hers.

Twins win!

Feels so good to have a game where the bats come alive, the pitching locks down a lineup that they should, and the bullpen provides stress free baseball. Absolutely have to win tomorrow with Ryan on the bump against a bad starter once again. Just hoping we get the A lineup, but I have my doubts with a huge 5 game series coming up on the road against a team that's much more important to beat. Leave the weekend no worse standings wise than when it started.
