Yeah, this is working well so far. Jax only had a K/9 of 6.2 in college. A low level conference too!  He’s at 9.7 this year out of the pen.

One of my favorite Gladden things: Provus will ask him a simple question and Gladden will ramble for 20 seconds without ever coming within 100 yards of addressing the question.

Ya' think you can count on a guy.......and then Duffey disappoints. Actually, with all the five inning starts, this puts a lot of stress on the BP. Instead of needing two perhaps three to hold a lead, three or four have to be effective. I suppose they can bring Duran back for the eighth, but then he certainly won't be available tomorrow.

Twins got off to a great start, but the Royals bullpen has been dominant since they entered despite not using their top arms. Need to add on another run or two.

Alacala's not due back until mid-June at the earliest, but I'd think it'll probably be later than that considering his recovery has gone horribly.

Duffy's going to have to fix himself because there's nobody else ready to do the job right now.

Best thing the Twins could do here would be to hit the ball all over Kauffman stadium for the next inning or two, take the pressure off the bullpen.
