Miranda is sort of doing a Willians Astudillo right now. He doesn't swing at everything like Willians, but he swings at everything in the zone and makes weak contact. At this point, his contact is a negative thing. Just not driving anything.

Unbelievable on both ends. How you don't score at least one run there is beyond me, but why Cleveland was continuing to ride or die with a guy that was laboring for 2+ innings and just lucked his way into a DP is also baffling.

I'm interested to see what happens with Smeltzer. I think he's earned the right to get another look, whether it's as a starter or as a long man. A long man is valuable to the Twins right now, because as we saw last night, the Twins don't have that on the roster.
