Game Thread Twins vs Astros "later" 5/12/2022 ad

Now that the Astros have been lulled i to a sense of security,... It is time to strike! (but not out. Nor for better working conditions)

 

Old tried but true: 5 things to think about, assuming it doesn't cause a stack overflow error, or something. (We'd have to wait for the official scorer to rule, though)

 

1. Knock knock jokes. They play off meeting folk for the first time. Yennier Cano finally got to throw his first pitch. And Contreras came in for Buxton. Welcome to the bigs! Maybe you can have your own knock jokes now.

 

2. Limericks. But i don't know... Will Puckett make us more or less likely to get in trouble for mentioning Nantucket? Pawtucket no longer has the team.

3. Pros and Cons. Discuss. Or not. Pretty sure they are all Pros at this level.

 

4. Haiku: 

It is my first time

In spiffy new Target Field

(So please, be gentle)

 

90 degrees, right?

Angle or temperature?

Either way, i'll live

 

5. Hats.

 

They can keep the sun off or the heat in.

Mine says "stovepipe" inside the brim, but i don't think Ben Franklin had this in mind. I would describe it more as top, which is where i hope the Twins come out on.

 

But as people like music:...

 

If they show a fan with a top hat, though, it is probably someone else.
