It's a pleasure to watch a team that does the small things well.  Too bad it's against the home squad.

Winder in for the 5th. Scheduled piggy-back “start”? If they don’t get rained on, suppose the plan is 2-3 innings?

Whether or not this is the plan, it doesn’t look like Winder will go more than an inning

If only we had some low leverage opportunities to ease Winder into the majors rather than throwing him into a tie game against the best lineup in my lifetime.

Bring him  in when the twins have 5 run lead.

One can only hope so.

Twins fans: Where is Falvey's pitching pipeline? We have waited long enough!

Twins fans, after a part of said pipeline makes his debut and it doesn't go perfectly: Send him back to St. Paul!

Seriously, I'm also annoyed by the Dodgers' lead and yesterday would probably have been a better situation for Winder. But can you maybe give him a little bit longer than one single inning before you write him off?

Yeah, don't get why Winder is used in a 0-0 game vs a stacked Dodgers lineup rather than using him yesterday with a 4 run lead. The rookie jitters were strong and Jeffers wasn't helping.

How will we waste the double this time? My guess is K, pop out to 3rd, groundout to 3rd

Maybe there will be a RBI single?

Only a Twin pitcher can have a mediocre inning, and get back slaps from the whole team.

Lighten up. It was the kid's first major league inning. He was working against nerves, bad weather, and a good team. He didn't give up a hit. A bit of support from teammates can go a long way in a situation like this.

Kepler murders left-handers, right? :)

It's deja vu all over again

Agree. Mostly nerves, I suspect.

But still, this is a brutal time for his debut.

Not when he has trouble throwing strikes.

That wore well!

HA, and I say HA again, good fielding makes a huge difference; that looked like last years Twins.

Someone said something about the Dodgers doing the little things right?

Thank you.

Irony.
