Well, that should have been a double play... isn't Trea Turner a gold glove winner? Apparently he isn't... but still, surprising for the Dodgers.

Yes definitely. Probably at least a bit weather related.

The runner kind of blocked Turner and so he caught far into his body and couldn't get the throw to second so rushed and airballed it.  It was a double play ball, but bounced in the Twins favor and really wasn't on Turner too much.

Something that really annoys me during broadcasts is when an infielder commits an error and the immediate comment is “the ball came up a little on him”. Bert did it all the time and now Justin is doing it. Really irks me as an athletic field groundskeeper lol

So if it ends now, it goes in the books as a tie, right? Does it then get replayed?

ARRRH, Kiriloff in left field, so much for Twins superior fielding.

Baldelli just crapped on Celestino.

Not as long as it's tied it's not. The failure to get that second run in last inning looms large. That's also why Dave Roberts brought in Graterol in the fifth inning.

Drat, I only watch the unofficial games

Not trying to pick on Buxton, but I think he'll be a great offensive player (he's definitely a great defender and a great weapon on the bases) when he comes through more often in those game situations.

What, you mean like in the 8th inning on Saturday?

Arraez hit for Celestino. It is immaterial who went out to left.

Somebody enlighten me. Say the Twins take a lead in the bottom of 6 here but don't complete the half inning before the game is stopped. Do the Twins get the win or is the inning wiped out because it wasn't completed?

And don't say yes.

Arreaz did crap; Baldelli showed so much faith in Celestino.

He should have treated Winder the way he treated Celestino.

Winder probably would have been much more poised and effective in a second inning.
