USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted April 11, 2021 Posted April 11, 2021 Really wish Buxton had been signed to an extension this winter.
snotboogie Verified Member Posted April 11, 2021 Posted April 11, 2021 We are working on a big home improvement project. My job now is to convince my better half that it needs to include a shrine to Byron Buxton.

MNT1996 Verified Member Posted April 11, 2021 Posted April 11, 2021 Yeah it might be an expensive extension for Buxton if he keeps this up

USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted April 11, 2021 Posted April 11, 2021 Great baserunning, Buxton!

ScrapTheNickname Provisional Member Posted April 11, 2021 Posted April 11, 2021 In an ideal world Kirilloff would replace Sano at first base NOW. Unfortunately, the world is, to put it politely, what it is. Make me wrong, Sano!

MNT1996 Verified Member Posted April 11, 2021 Posted April 11, 2021 I think Donaldson should get reps at 1B when he comes back
Nine of twelve Verified Member Posted April 11, 2021 Author Posted April 11, 2021 I think Donaldson should get reps at 1B when he comes backHe has a reputation for being an excellent defender at third base. It doesn't make sense to me to move him to first.
Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted April 11, 2021 Posted April 11, 2021 I think Donaldson should get reps at 1B when he comes backWhy? He's far and away the best defensive third baseman on the roster. Injury concerns? Is that what you're thinking?
mrtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted April 11, 2021 Posted April 11, 2021 I think Donaldson should get reps at 1B when he comes backFor home games i agree, then on the road 3rd base , we gotta keep those Calves consistent !!
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted April 11, 2021 Posted April 11, 2021 Really wish Buxton had been signed to an extension this winter.I must concur. But i am not surprised it didn't happen.
mrtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted April 11, 2021 Posted April 11, 2021 Try to time all my breaks when Sano and Max come up, Thanks Rocco!
Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted April 11, 2021 Posted April 11, 2021 I must concur. But i am not surprised it didn't happen.I don't think it was likely, if possible at all. Buxton (rightly) views himself as a potential MVP-level player and the Twins (rightly) view him as a player that can't be MVP because he can't stay on the field. I suspect the numbers each party put on the table were wildly different.
twinssporto Verified Member Posted April 11, 2021 Posted April 11, 2021 I love watching Arreaz hit. The guy really is good.

Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted April 11, 2021 Posted April 11, 2021 My ideal lineup: 1. Buxton2. Cruz3. Buxton4. Cruz5. Buxton6. Cruz7. Buxton8. Cruz9. Arraez
Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted April 11, 2021 Posted April 11, 2021 Thanks for the free out, Bishop. A sac bunt when trailing by 4 runs? Weird gamble, but I'll take it!
MNT1996 Verified Member Posted April 11, 2021 Posted April 11, 2021 Absolutely unbelievable. Haven't seen a hitter this locked in for a while
MVP Nick Punto Verified Member Posted April 11, 2021 Posted April 11, 2021 Buxton OPSing 1.783 at the moment, I believe.
Dave The Dastardly Verified Member Posted April 11, 2021 Posted April 11, 2021 And we have four players in the game batting below the Mendoza Line.
insagt1 Verified Member Posted April 11, 2021 Posted April 11, 2021 Sano with a hitters count and a duck (A Buck actually!) just sitting on the pond waiting to be driven in...and Sano whiffs yet again, and looks bad doing it.When Buxton came up he was also a strikeout machine...but somehow he has managed to learn how to make contact...in a big way.Sano needs to sit. His AB's are getting uglier...and even if he were to make a mistake today and hit one out, with the Twins decent lead, it wouldn't be all that meaningful.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted April 11, 2021 Posted April 11, 2021 Does Seager EVER close his mouth?
Nine of twelve Verified Member Posted April 11, 2021 Author Posted April 11, 2021 That review gave Dobnak more time to get ready. Good for us.
Craig Arko Old-Timey Member Posted April 11, 2021 Posted April 11, 2021 Far from it, but I find the subject very interesting. Of any field of human endeavor it is the closest thing to the truth.I have absconded with this video. Thanks for posting it.
