nicksaviking Community Moderator Posted April 6, 2021 Posted April 6, 2021 I'm still not back on the Astudillo bandwagon, but I'm openminded enough to buy a ticket for a seat for future use.

USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted April 6, 2021 Posted April 6, 2021 Why have replay if you're not overturning that?

USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted April 6, 2021 Posted April 6, 2021 Watching Happ pitch is sort of like having a dull toothache. Unpleasant, but you sort of just put up with it.
MMMordabito Verified Member Posted April 6, 2021 Posted April 6, 2021 Twins will be lucky to get four innings out of Happ.
mrtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2021 Posted April 6, 2021 Could of Sano maybe stretched out ??? yes he was out

I haven't watched (listening on the radio) Happ pitch yet. What is unpleasant, the delivery? pace? his stuff? Control?

Sielk Verified Member Posted April 6, 2021 Posted April 6, 2021 I don't know, I am really not comfortable watching Happ pitch. He may have been pretty successful with it but Happ pounding the edges of the zone with countless 90 mph fastballs feels like a disaster waiting to happen.

I'd much rather have him as the 26th man instead of a rookie, that is for sure.

Or a catcher. But because Astudillo can play a half-assed second or third, you can PH him for almost anyone in any situation; sure the defensive alignment takes a hit afterward but that beats not being able to do it at all.

USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted April 6, 2021 Posted April 6, 2021 When Chief tells it on a Game Thread?Sorry...incorrect. Although perhaps better than the actual answer.

USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted April 6, 2021 Posted April 6, 2021 On another note...anyone watching the Detroit telecast on MLB Network? The Detroit announcers are possible the dryest, most enthusiasm-free team in the history of televised sport. Morneau is Robin Williams by comparison.
