MNT1996 Verified Member Posted April 4, 2021 Posted April 4, 2021 That was an impressively bad at-bat. Even for a pitcher
wavedog Verified Member Posted April 4, 2021 Posted April 4, 2021 Pineda might be the worst hitter ever. Why wasn’t he still bunting with 2 strikes?
LaBombo Verified Member Posted April 4, 2021 Posted April 4, 2021 Is Pineda wearing his hat less crooked this year? I think it's having a positive effect on his pitching. Before the game a kindly senior named Euclid was trying to explain a theorem to Brewers tailgaters that accounts for this, but he was driven from the parking lot in a hail of catcalls and empty Old Mil bottles.
MMMordabito Verified Member Posted April 4, 2021 Posted April 4, 2021 It hurts to watch Pineda run through first.
IndianaTwin Verified Member Posted April 4, 2021 Posted April 4, 2021 Methinks that when Pineda is up with a runner on first and less than two outs, a strikeout would be considered a productive out.
MVP Nick Punto Verified Member Posted April 4, 2021 Posted April 4, 2021 If not for an error, we'd be up 2-0 in this game. I wasn't able to watch the opener; would we have won that one if not for errors?
twinssporto Verified Member Posted April 4, 2021 Posted April 4, 2021 Sorry I'm late...Was listening on the radio while smoking a big ham. The Big Green Egg is doing its job while I have a few cocktails and watch the Twins. After Big Mike ran to first base on his pseudo bunt I had to readjust the ham on the grate. Felt the rumble from Milwaukee.

twinssporto Verified Member Posted April 4, 2021 Posted April 4, 2021 It hurts to watch Pineda run through first.Agreed. Had to go take 4 Advil and a few CBD gummies. My legs ached.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted April 4, 2021 Posted April 4, 2021 So tomorrow is Mrs Chief's birthday. She's been dropping hints all week. A few nights ago, she woke me up and told me she had dreamed of a gold necklace. "What do you think that means, Chief?" she asked me. "Well, maybe you should wait until Monday to find out!" I told her, grinning. Two nights ago, same thing, except this time, she "dreamed of a pearl necklace." I gave her the same answer. "Maybe you should wait till Monday, perhaps you'll find out." Last night..."I dreamed of a DIAMOND necklace, Chief-ee poo! What does it mean??" I just grinned. "I bet you'll figure it out soon!!" I can't wait till tomorrow, when she opens her birthday gift. I got her a signed, first edition copy of John Hopkins' best seller "Interpreting Your Dreams."

ashbury Verified Member Posted April 4, 2021 Posted April 4, 2021 It hurts to watch Pineda run through first. He would have been going faster but felt it prudent to slow down for the speed bump.

USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted April 4, 2021 Posted April 4, 2021 That grueling sprint down to first seems to have taken a lot out of Pineda.
ashbury Verified Member Posted April 4, 2021 Posted April 4, 2021 Doesn't feel as though two runs will be enough this afternoon.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted April 4, 2021 Posted April 4, 2021 Thielbar for Yelich, please.
LaBombo Verified Member Posted April 4, 2021 Posted April 4, 2021 Nice to see Pineda getting a swinging K with an off-speed pitch.

IndianaTwin Verified Member Posted April 4, 2021 Posted April 4, 2021 In Wisconsin, Pineda comes through with the cheese.
