LaBombo Verified Member Posted April 4, 2021 Posted April 4, 2021 CAnt have both Bux and Donaldson injured on the first weekend. that would just not be fair! Yeah, if that happens, all we can do is hope they don't return until the trade deadline so the Twins can say it's like they acquired two All Stars for the stretch run.
MVP Nick Punto Verified Member Posted April 4, 2021 Posted April 4, 2021 Yup, and after the game he's driving the team tanker to the airport through angry Brewers fans... Maybe they'll have better odds of making it if we can get Randy Moss to distract the Wisconsinites in some way...
LaBombo Verified Member Posted April 4, 2021 Posted April 4, 2021 Provus just said the Twins official response is"non-Covid" related incident At least now we know that Buxton's odds of secretly being a senior citizen or morbidly obese are dramatically lower...

LewFordLives Verified Member Posted April 4, 2021 Posted April 4, 2021 For a brief fraction of a second I convinced myself Simmons had just hit a HR to dead center field.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted April 4, 2021 Posted April 4, 2021 my son tells me Buxton came out to the on deck circle, then went back to perform a ... bodily function. food poisening?
twinssporto Verified Member Posted April 4, 2021 Posted April 4, 2021 Provus just said the Twins official response is"non-Covid" related incidentDoes that mean allergies or just a scratchy throat? Maybe pink eye, Bronchitis, Diverticulitis?
Kato87 Verified Member Posted April 4, 2021 Posted April 4, 2021 whew. that narrows it down. Not dissing Joe...its the new-age "bilateral leg weakness" for the Twins PR dept.
LaBombo Verified Member Posted April 4, 2021 Posted April 4, 2021 I love hecklers Reduced pandemic crowds mean that many of them will be having career years.

IndianaTwin Verified Member Posted April 4, 2021 Posted April 4, 2021 At least now we know that Buxton's odds of secretly being a senior citizen or morbidly obese are dramatically lower...I got my second COVID shot yesterday. I was kinda glad that it took Indiana a few weeks to bring the age eligibility down. I heard that side effects aren’t as bad for those 55 and over, and I just hit that birthday in late March.

IndianaTwin Verified Member Posted April 4, 2021 Posted April 4, 2021 It would be nice to get guys some work, but going to Dobnak for the four-inning save would be nice for keeping him stretched out. Reasonable chance he’ll be needed one of the next couple days, but I’m always glad to get a win in the bag without using five pitchers.

MMMordabito Verified Member Posted April 4, 2021 Posted April 4, 2021 I think someone just yelled out "Let's go Tommy Boy" to Vogelback. Love it!

He must have been stationed at some, ahh, /interesting/ places over the course of 20 years.
