Mill1634 Verified Member Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 Big inning from May getting through 3-4-5
FlauerPauer Verified Member Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 I was wrong, it’s been 16 years since a big hit...Jacque Jones Homer off mussina Was the one game they won in 2003 or 2004?
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 Being 14 wasn't a bad time for me. Coincidentally, it was when i last lived in MN as well...Coincidentally, when I was 14, Minnesota wasn't a state yet.
TwinsCD Verified Member Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 I was wrong, it’s been 16 years since a big hit...Jacque Jones Homer off mussina Torii Hunter's HR in the 12th of Game 2 that year should have been the game-winner until Gardy left Nathan out there for another inning.
mrtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 Why wouldnt Rocco have Buxton bunt in that a.b. ? or even hit and run ?
stringer bell Verified Member Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 I'd like to see a few doubles this inning, capped off by a homer, maybe five runs.
Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted September 29, 2020 Author Posted September 29, 2020 ESPN used to be the best sports network, not anymoreIt has been a long time since they were good. They couldn’t compete with expanded local coverage and moved to broadcasting only programming that involved talking heads who yell at each other a lot while being wrong.
ashbury Verified Member Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 It annoys me this broadcast is refusing to show replays of check swings.Get it right the first time, noob.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 Torii Hunter's HR in the 12th of Game 2 that year should have been the game-winner until Gardy left Nathan out there for another inning.Oh god I wiped it from my memory
Doctor Gast Verified Member Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 I expect CLE/ NYY to be a good game too
TwinsCD Verified Member Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 Who's guessed more in this game, Altuve or DJ Reyburn. New inning, new zone.
TFRazor Verified Member Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 Being 14 wasn't a bad time for me. Coincidentally, it was when i last lived in MN as well...I loathed it. Older woman next door wouldn't leave me alone... Hated living next to my grandparents.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 Sano is basically standing behind the catcher. Surprised they’re allowing it
mrtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 I was 14 last time the Twins won a playoff game... painful. Was 58 here , im running out of chances, Hope ya dont break my record
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 Was the one game they won in 2003 or 2004? yes
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 They’ve had great defensive placement all day
stringer bell Verified Member Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 Why wouldnt Rocco have Buxton bunt in that a.b. ? or even hit and run ?How often does Buxton put the ball in play when he bunts? If bunting for a hit was easy guys would be bunting on the shifts all the time.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 Just one more run would mean so much
ashbury Verified Member Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 Sano looks absolutely lost at the plate. / yes this is an attempt at a reverse jinx
LVTwinsfan Verified Member Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 Sano is hard to watch...this whole team is hard to watch
FlauerPauer Verified Member Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 ESPN used to be the best sports network, not anymore ESPN is the worst. Just the worst.
Mill1634 Verified Member Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 Why wouldnt Rocco have Buxton bunt in that a.b. ? or even hit and run ?Hit and run is an easy defense of Rocco not doing it...He swings and missed A LOT. Makes a lot more sense to H&R with someone like Arraez or Willians at the plate
TFRazor Verified Member Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 Sano is hard to watch...this whole team is hard to watchEspecially on the radio
ashbury Verified Member Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 Coincidentally, when I was 14, Minnesota wasn't a state yet.Was Minnetonka a lake?
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 Sano is hard to watch...this whole team is hard to watchI can almost feel the immense pressure the offense seems to be playing under in these types of games. It’s not there usually
TFRazor Verified Member Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 Was Minnetonka a lake? More like had the ice caps receded?
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 I can accept that from sano
Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 Feels like one of those games where 1 is all we’re going to put on the scoreboard.
stringer bell Verified Member Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 Headline--Sanó puts the ball in play in three consecutive at bats.
