LaBombo Verified Member Posted September 24, 2020 Posted September 24, 2020 What is the record for safeties? Season total allowed, or given up in consecutive games?
FlauerPauer Verified Member Posted September 24, 2020 Posted September 24, 2020 They do, if you ignore Bieber's insane, high-end-reliever-esque K rate... Maeda has been great, but Bieber should win it in a landslide. Beiber has him in K's, but Maeda has given up less baserunners and has a pretty good K rate as well. If he wins tonight, he'll have 6. A sub 2.30 ERA. WHIP below .70 and only 10 walks. Dude has been a stud. Bieber has more wins, a better ERA, and a more K's and k/9 rate, but that's pretty much it. We all know W's are a chance of circumstance. All I'm saying is there is a chance; especially if the Twins win the Division.
LaBombo Verified Member Posted September 24, 2020 Posted September 24, 2020 That was sort of an "Instant insurance run or bust" at bat by Buxton.
LVTwinsfan Verified Member Posted September 24, 2020 Posted September 24, 2020 Season total allowed, or given up in consecutive games? Its sad that that is a question after two games
FlauerPauer Verified Member Posted September 24, 2020 Posted September 24, 2020 Might be one of the last times you see Rick Anderson on FSN north.
LVTwinsfan Verified Member Posted September 24, 2020 Posted September 24, 2020 Might be one of the last times you see Rick Anderson on FSN north.or anywhere
LVTwinsfan Verified Member Posted September 24, 2020 Posted September 24, 2020 Bottom of 9 in Cleveland. 2-2
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted September 24, 2020 Posted September 24, 2020 So... Which was better? 3 singles or a 2 run homer?yes.
LaBombo Verified Member Posted September 24, 2020 Posted September 24, 2020 Its sad that that is a question after two games More milestones to chase, more magical memories to make...

USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted September 24, 2020 Posted September 24, 2020 What is the record for safeties?2. A third is called a "nickel back."
LaBombo Verified Member Posted September 24, 2020 Posted September 24, 2020 Crazy far homer by Rosario, but an air raid siren in a stadium filled mostly with cardboard fans makes me feel like an especially depressing ending from The Twilight Zone is about to play out.
MNT1996 Verified Member Posted September 24, 2020 Posted September 24, 2020 A couple weeks ago I was confident that the Twins were going to move on from Rosario in favor of a prospect next year. Now, I'm not so confident.
LVTwinsfan Verified Member Posted September 24, 2020 Posted September 24, 2020 Twins are back in first if they win this game

USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted September 24, 2020 Posted September 24, 2020 Twins are back in first if they win this gamebut will still need at least one more Chicago loss to claim the ALC.
Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted September 24, 2020 Posted September 24, 2020 Things really are falling in place for the Twins these past couple days. Suddenly it looks possible to be the #2 seed!

LaBombo Verified Member Posted September 24, 2020 Posted September 24, 2020 2.A third is called a "nickel back." No longer coming to a civic center near you in 2020!!! Don't say the lockdown never did anything for you.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted September 24, 2020 Posted September 24, 2020 but will still need at least one more Chicago loss to claim the ALC.If results stay the same as they are now, twins will just have to win one more game than the Sox the rest of the way
