USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted September 13, 2020 Posted September 13, 2020 Two straight days of catcher home runs. It's like Garver is back from the Injured List. No, it's nothing at all like having Garver behind the plate.
TFRazor Verified Member Posted September 13, 2020 Posted September 13, 2020 Romo did not appealI wouldn’t either. He wasn’t going to pitch tonight anyway lol
IndianaTwin Verified Member Posted September 13, 2020 Posted September 13, 2020 In partial answer to both questions, one of them is AJ Pierzynski. Here’s the ticket stub from the first minor league game that I took my then-three-year-old son to. Why do I mention it tonight? The catcher for the Fort Wayne Wizards that day was a 19-year-old A.J. Pierzynski.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted September 13, 2020 Posted September 13, 2020 I have struggled much of my life with dyslexia. I joined a support group, the National Dyslexia Association, and they've been a big help. I highly recommend the DNA.

USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted September 13, 2020 Posted September 13, 2020 Speaking of profound, I remember back to my college calculus class. I was 16 minutes late for the first day of class, 8 minutes late the second day, and 4 minutes late the third day. Finally, the professor got tired of me showing up late, I guess, and asked me when he could expect me to be on time. "Well," I said, "at this rate, never."
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted September 13, 2020 Posted September 13, 2020 Now that i know it is AJ, it is a lot more enjoyable. Just early on the other fellow was talking up a storm. "I suppose it's my job to think." was pretty good.

It bothers me.

Mill1634 Verified Member Posted September 13, 2020 Posted September 13, 2020 Hill struggling the 2nd time through once again....I think he is a long man in the playoffs. I think he can be effective at the role, but he certainly isn't a starter

stringer bell Verified Member Posted September 13, 2020 Posted September 13, 2020 About 1200 feet of flyballs there. So far, just one run.

IndianaTwin Verified Member Posted September 13, 2020 Posted September 13, 2020 Remind me what disorder means... The opposite of datorder.
twins_89 Verified Member Posted September 13, 2020 Posted September 13, 2020 Hill might be best utilized as a once through the order pitcher. He repeatedly seems to have issues with control in the 3rd or 4th inning (either walking guys or throwing it right down the middle).

Nine of twelve Verified Member Posted September 13, 2020 Posted September 13, 2020 Reliever to open the fifth, please.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted September 13, 2020 Posted September 13, 2020 I'd let Hill try to smoke and mirror it through the bottom of the order in the 5th.

Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted September 13, 2020 Posted September 13, 2020 Doesn't look like we'll be gaining a game on the White Sox, as they're up 12-0 against the Tigers.
