JNess21 Verified Member Posted September 13, 2020 Posted September 13, 2020 I know we're a couple years out still but does anybody have heard anything about a possible Buxton extension? I'd hate for this guy to leave us right as he's turning into the player we've been impatiently waiting for.
IndianaTwin Verified Member Posted September 13, 2020 Posted September 13, 2020 See how that hustle thing works when you’re running from home to second?
Mill1634 Verified Member Posted September 13, 2020 Posted September 13, 2020 Did not expect Hill to come back out, but props to him for getting through it. Such a gigantic difference between getting 4 vs 5 out of your starter.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted September 13, 2020 Posted September 13, 2020 Ok, have a seat, big guy. Five innings, 2 runs, the new quality start. We'll take it.
Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted September 13, 2020 Posted September 13, 2020 I don't know what it is, but it feels like this lineup hits better against the Indians and White Sox pitching and for some reason does worse against the Royals and Tigers. Buxton and Donaldson were missing during a lot of those games, but still...
Mill1634 Verified Member Posted September 13, 2020 Posted September 13, 2020 Vargas, former Twin, just hit a homer off of Josh Hader for the Cubs
stringer bell Verified Member Posted September 13, 2020 Posted September 13, 2020 That double is probably his first time where Buxton displayed caution chasing a fly ball.

Buxton and Donaldson were missing during a lot of those games, but still... I have the same sense. For some reason, I don’t fear Chicago as much as I should. Maybe because there’s also this sense that if they don’t get hits, their defense will find a way to screw it up.
twins_89 Verified Member Posted September 13, 2020 Posted September 13, 2020 I'll be curious to see how the Twins handle the rotation when Odorizzi comes back. Berrios, Maeda, and Pineda are clearly the top 3, but the last 2 spots are less clear.

USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted September 13, 2020 Posted September 13, 2020 Uh, not a big fan of walking the leadoff guy. Call me crazy.

Mill1634 Verified Member Posted September 13, 2020 Posted September 13, 2020 ****. Buxton is probably hurt
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted September 13, 2020 Posted September 13, 2020 Great. Just great. And he didn't even need to jump or hit the wall.
PDX Twin Verified Member Posted September 13, 2020 Posted September 13, 2020 ****. Buxton is probably hurt This is news? The news is the 3-base error.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted September 13, 2020 Posted September 13, 2020 Would be nice to choke off the run at third.

operation mindcrime Verified Member Posted September 13, 2020 Posted September 13, 2020 What the heck was that?
PDX Twin Verified Member Posted September 13, 2020 Posted September 13, 2020 They are giving him a hit on a ball that the fielder overruns and lets bounce off his glove? What's the world coming to?
Nine of twelve Verified Member Posted September 13, 2020 Posted September 13, 2020 Please don't let Buck be injured as badly as it looked.
TFRazor Verified Member Posted September 13, 2020 Posted September 13, 2020 ****. Buxton is probably hurtI think that we’re just going to have to accept that if it’s close that buck is going to go for it and we’ll just have to accept the consequences
IndianaTwin Verified Member Posted September 13, 2020 Posted September 13, 2020 Rough inning for Wisler. Squeezed on a couple pitches on the walk. A passed ball from Tortuga. And a fly ball that Buxton is going to say he should have caught.
Sielk Verified Member Posted September 13, 2020 Posted September 13, 2020 What the hell is up with Buck? That's the second time this season he missed a ball he almost had in his glove.
Mill1634 Verified Member Posted September 13, 2020 Posted September 13, 2020 Please don't let Buck be injured as badly as it looked.I am SHOCKED that nobody went out and even talked to him. The good news is he is still in this game. I am guessing we don't see him tomorrow (although we probably weren't going to anyway with 2 games in a row)
