Game Thread 8/23: Minnesota Twins (18-10) @ Kansas City Royals (11-16) 1:05pmCT

[FlauerPauer]

I lost the FSN feed so I switched to FSKC. Physioc compared Cruz to Barry Bonds, why? We don’t need to hear about Bonds

Same thing here. I didn't understand that either.

[FlauerPauer]

Is Sano stoppable?

Could still probably strike him out...

[FlauerPauer]

Good eye, Marwin!

[jun]

Vargas just can't hit, let him go, it's a waste of roster spot.

[jorgenswest]

Vargas 0-5 with 8 left on base. Ouch!

i hope we see Arraez all of the Indian series.

[sampleSizeOfOne]

It would take a wall of infielders to stop him

A strike in the bowling sense rather then the baseball sense...

[LVTwinsfan]

Wow strike one on Dozier

[FlauerPauer]

Audria Martin not only bringing the stories, but bringing the looks!

[FlauerPauer]

Can only throw too many sliders, Taylor.

[Aggies7]

I know he missed some time, but hunter dozier has all but ONE of his hits against the twins this year

[FlauerPauer]

Why aren't they selling the 60th patch hats? Anyone know?

[LVTwinsfan]

Why aren't they selling the 60th patch hats? Anyone know?

theyre non essential

Still trying to get rid of old ASG hats?

[MNT1996]

Rogers needs a break from the closer role. This is ridiculous

[LVTwinsfan]

Rogers hasn’t been good lately

[Aggies7]

Can we please be done with the royals

[FlauerPauer]

Why not throw 95-96?

[FlauerPauer]

theyre non essential

I need a 52nd hat for my collection...

[FlauerPauer]

Rogers hasn’t been good lately

That slider isn't fooling anyone anymore.

[Diesel]

its a win!

[LVTwinsfan]

After all that the Twins ended the season series with the Royals 5-5, which is a good comeback from a 0-3 start.

[Nine of twelve]

Exhale!

[snotboogie]

Whew.

[sampleSizeOfOne]

It don't come easy, you know...

[h2oface]

they didn’t score, he did his job, so that is good

Well, they did score one run. so that is good, I guess. Poppen says thank you.

[operation mindcrime]

Way to go Twins!!!!!

[FlauerPauer]

At least Clippard gets the win for his broken elbow.

[Twodogs]

I would never use stolen bases as a way to rate any player. It’s an overrated stat. Nobody steals 100% and caught stealings hurt your team. In most cases stealing a base doesn’t even make a difference and caught stealings are hard to measure the amount of harm they do.

Says absolutely no pitchers that ever faced Ricky Henderson.

[jun]

Rogers should not be a closer right now. Let Duffey/Clippard/Alcala close.

[sampleSizeOfOne]

Wait...

Does that mean we don't get to play the Royals any more?

I am gonna miss the competition!

I hope they play our rivals equally tough!
