Not a great outing from Berrios...had the same issues he has had all year. The command was better, but he couldn't put anyway away at all. Now the Twins need to add on some runs. The offense has been getting on, but isn't getting the hit that'll break this one open.

That second pitch to Gonzalez, a 94 mph fastball with absolutely no movement, thigh high right down the middle, and no swing. That is the pitch that pitchers say in the interview.... I just made that one "mistake" when the batter parks it.... they always make a ton of mistakes. The batters just make it appear that they don't.

Ah watched it again the count was 1-2 so moot point. Wasn't paying attention. Did look up and in to me anyway which brings up a question I have; why with his stuff do you think Berrios doesn't climb the ladder with his fastball like that more often? Might help in putting guys away.

I used to visit this little bar on Lake Street to meet girls. I'm reminded of a particulalry unsuccessful trip one night, and I still to this day don't understand what went wrong.

My opinion, he’s stubborn, he likes his breaking ball too much and can’t accept the fact it isn’t working today.

I'd like to see him ditch the 2 seam, go almost exclusively to the 4 seam, and have a better chance of putting it where he wants it.
