USNMCPO Verified Member Posted July 25, 2020 Posted July 25, 2020 Going to be a quick game if that strike zone continues all day.
bighat Verified Member Posted July 25, 2020 Posted July 25, 2020 Adrianza had the only well-hit ball so far today against Keuchel. Hit it to the wrong place though. Not a great first trip through the order, gotta get this guy to throw more pitches.
twinssporto Verified Member Posted July 25, 2020 Posted July 25, 2020 How about Mozart?I thought about that too but I don't think it would add to the drama. Opera would be more appropriate if you want to go down that path.

On top of the fake crowd noise, give the video editor a set of buttons to sample a beer vendor, popcorn, cheers, boos, applause, etc. Push the buttons at the right times, it'll make the fake crowd noises much better.

Opera would be more appropriate if you want to go down that path. My goal is often to lower the drama, not increase it. My FitBit sometimes gives me "active minutes" (elevated heart rate) toward the end of EPL matches involving my favorite side.
twinssporto Verified Member Posted July 25, 2020 Posted July 25, 2020 It's nice having a great 3rd baseman. Like that defense.

Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted July 25, 2020 Posted July 25, 2020 And there's the first Rosario overthrow of the cutoff man resulting in a run of the season...
Nine of twelve Verified Member Posted July 25, 2020 Posted July 25, 2020 I'd like them to put a live mic on the players too. With no fans it should be easy to pick up almost everything that is said on the field.

The White Sox should have a cutout of Harry Carrey just to piss off the Cub fans, stuff like that. Maybe use a few mannequins too.

Yesterday I remember Demonico fouled out and you could hear him say F#%&CK!!! so loud I think he woke up half the South Side. I also recall hearing Anderson a lot yesterday on defense "I GOT IT I GOT IT".

bighat Verified Member Posted July 25, 2020 Posted July 25, 2020 Awful strike 1 call on Garver there. Terrible.
bighat Verified Member Posted July 25, 2020 Posted July 25, 2020 Extremely disturbing lack of patience there from Donaldson.
BeatTheRich Verified Member Posted July 25, 2020 Posted July 25, 2020 This game also marked the last time that an NFL player (Bears end Dick Plasman) played without a helmet.[8]” At the conclusion of the 73-0 game Plasman was heard to ask, "Did we win?" I think Dobnak is destined to have a long career with the Twins. I like him a lot. Rosario did him no favors that last inning, though, with that lackadaisical throw. That's what's most frustrating about Eddie and will probably keep him from locking up a long-term contract with the Twins.
Mill1634 Verified Member Posted July 25, 2020 Posted July 25, 2020 Dobnak is fighting it this inning...get someone up
Mill1634 Verified Member Posted July 25, 2020 Posted July 25, 2020 Great play by Ehire, nice job by Dobnak to get out of that.
twins_89 Verified Member Posted July 25, 2020 Posted July 25, 2020 That should be it for Dobnak. His control was really starting to slip last inning. He's pitched pretty well and I hope they don't push him too far.
Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted July 25, 2020 Posted July 25, 2020 The Twins aren’t going to score runs as long as Keuchel can spot that ball three inches below the knees and the ump calls it a strike.
Dave The Dastardly Verified Member Posted July 25, 2020 Posted July 25, 2020 At the conclusion of the 73-0 game Plasman was heard to ask, "Did we win?" With a toothless grin underneath a nose that looked like it had been pressed into place and flattened with a hot iron wielded by a left-handed blacksmith.

Pretty demoralizing seeing Twins batters get into 0-1 or 1-2 holes thanks to the ump calling that 73 MPH dirtball a strike all game.

Dobnak has also benefited from it but Keuchel can hit that spot seemingly at will today.
bighat Verified Member Posted July 25, 2020 Posted July 25, 2020 Gonna have to hit it out of the park to get past Robert in CF apparently.
twins_89 Verified Member Posted July 25, 2020 Posted July 25, 2020 Twins have started to make some solid contact, unfortunately they are hitting it right at the defense.
