I’m pretty sure they overpaid the curse out of existence.

At least it worked for them. I wish it hadn't, but for their sake it's a good thing.

Although they did get the World Series win - and anorther time in the Series -- the Royals time as a good team did not last very long - esp. after such a long period of not being good.

BTW, Philadelphia at Cleveland is on ESPN at 5:30 CDT today. I'm suggesting this game thread could extend to that game for anyone who is interested.

I'm wondering if this game will be over by then. Draaaaaaaaaging on.
