That flare by Arraez is one of those balls you simply expect Betts to catch. Tough play, not close to an error of course, but something within his capability that on another day he gets.

Heh...

 

Just came back from class in time to see Sano launch Sputnik2.

 

Jerry Remy and the Sawks booth are in awe... Ooohs and aaahs abound.

 

Play by play guy: "And here comes the manager."

Jerry Remy:  "I guess SO."

 

My goodness, Sano almost hit Porcello in the face.

On the video scoreboard.

About 1000 feet from home plate, and 12 stories high.

Sure wasn't. Was very solid for three innings and that in itself is important.

yeah, maybe he builds it up enough to be the 4th primary for the post season. I’d trust him more than Perez

 

I guess that’s more of an indictment on Perez than praise of Thorpe
