I know that editors ding me for including the extra 'e' in that word, but I have never understood how you get the soft 'g' sound without it. I feel like I need to pronounce it "Jud-guh-ment," spelled your way.

 

(I also don't like including the comma inside the quotation marks, but decided I'd better do it or you'd ding me for that too. :) )

 

You're on the wrong side of the pond. It's "judgement", when in England (or Canada, for that matter). I battle with myself not to "correct" these in theses by students from those places.

Luckily Wade got a walk....this is NOT a toss away game. We need to win them all.....If Baldelli thinks a 4 to 5 game lead is good, he needs a reality check.

...Fortunately, the Twins rotation has been amazingly healthy! Their starting five pitchers have stayed in the rotation almost the entire season, starting all but seven games...

Go Twins!!

And two of those seven starts came as the 26th man in a DH.

 

Also of note regarding their health is that prior to roster expansion, all but nine PAs came from 15 players (not counting pitchers).

That Cron at bat was an example of a perfect bunt situation. A few years ago, that would've been a bunt call from the manager and likely moved the runners up, tying the game on Cave's grounder. Makes me miss small ball a little bit.

Kepler bails the team out! Sat and waited for the ball to get back in the zone and hammered it to left center. Thata boy Max!
