Apart from the 2 solo homers, 1 run on 3 hits is output I would describe as pathetic against most any caliber of pitcher, let alone one with the stats Verhagen has.

 

Kinda makes me glad I don't have to watch this on TV or in person.

Tom Kelly is a good manager who is smart and keen. I don't know what to say about Rocco.

Just about all of the Twins starters’ ERAs have risen by about half a run since the AS break. Pineda is the notable exception. His is down about a quarter of a run.

 

Not good. Marcus Stroman would look real good right about now.

Very cool man. Reminds me of the protests here in Guatemala a few years ago. Unfortunately, the spirit of revolution here was crushed, things have gotten worse, and now everyone is so fatigued that they've just said "f--- it". Well, maybe not everyone but certainly lots of them. Poverty is a hell of an opponent.
