Indians hitters hit 7 homers through 8 innings against Yankees pitching.

As much as most of us hated the trade deadline, imagine what Yankees forums must have looked like over the past two weeks.

If Smeltzer takes over the next three innings, I don't think it really matters.

 

I'd be more upset about it if Pineda wasn't coming off the IL.

Valid point about the IL. Smeltzer not looking like he’s gonna get 4. Maybe 4 outs.

I'm pretty sure Dick overreacted to the 3rd base coach sending the guy home only because Diaz did the same thing a few days earlier...

Polanco has the range of a caged chicken.

Yeah, that's going to be something the Twins give, if Arraez and Polanco are the keystone combo going forward. I'd be fine if Arraez is eventually the default DH.

If the plan is to DH a player like Arraez, it'd be a lot smarter to trade him for a useful piece somewhere else on the diamond.

 

DH is a waste of his ability.

I'd like to see Polanco move to second when Lewis is ready and Arraez can take over as the super utility type.
