Mill1634 Verified Member Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 Me thinks EE was worked around there...He owns Gibby
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 This is still a very winnable game. German might've used up his weekly allocation of luck to get out of that inning. I hope our boys take to heart the old adage "patience is a virtue"Weekly allocation of luck—and pitches.
Darius Verified Member Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 This team has some hideous ABs in big situations routinely. Rowson deserves a ton of credit, and gets a boatload if it. But why doesn’t he ever take any heat for that? It’s always the individual player getting berated. But, when a player, like Sano for instance, turns things around it’s all because of his genius. Great coach, but that part of it is starting to annoy me.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 Gibson gets a DP grounder and still manages to mangle the inning.
tvagle Verified Member Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 Nibbles then Hits...Nibbles then hits...Nibbles then WP
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 Thanks for asking... In this context "safety" was meant to avoid a double play which would have prompted TD posters to spend 3 pages on the dour state of Twins hitters with the bases juiced In reality it would have safely kept us from having to watch that Castro ABAre we safe yet? Can i stop running now? Or should i just tune in 3 pages later in the game thread?
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 Starting to think the Indians are never going to lose. Throwing a 1 hitter through 7. So frustrating
tvagle Verified Member Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 Roy that was not "Great Hands" by Castro that was self-defense/wing-and-a-prayer glove block

I think they just have hit a string of bad luck.
LVTwinsfan Verified Member Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 Obviously no relation to Bob Gibson
FLTwinsGuy Verified Member Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 Good lord there is no one more frustrating to watch then Kyle Gibson..please be the last year in a Twins uniform!!

TNTwinsFan Verified Member Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 Stop nibbling Gibby!! Go after them!!!! So frustrating!
HawksNest Verified Member Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 Gibson could be damn good if he ever could get his command figured out. I think he has some of the best stuff on the entire staff but good lord is he a frustrating to watch.

It's like that song "Santa Claus is Coming to Town" except instead of "you better watch out, you better not cry, ....." its "you better watch out, you better watch out, You Better Watch Out, YOU BETTER WATCH OUT, YOU BETTER WATCH OUT!!, YOU BETTER WATCH OUT!!!1!!11!!"
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 I have a bad bad feeling ol Gary Sanchez isn’t gonna stay cold
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 Christ, one good AB after another from the *********** Yankees.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 Good lord there is no one more frustrating to watch then Kyle Gibson..please be the last year in a Twins uniform!!You don’t have to watch him. That why God created channel surfing. Just turn away when he pitches and turn back when the Twins are batting.
FlauerPauer Verified Member Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 Seriously Gibson. Just throw strikes.

MVP Nick Punto Verified Member Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 THROW STRIKES YOU BUMHe did. Post this before every pitch.
