Cardinals move. Can always move back to the rotation later.

 

I've watched the Astros move Peacock back and forth. The Dodgers move Maeda around. 

 

Pomeranz, Minor and a bunch of others... The precedent has been smashed... only convention holds it in place.

Welp. This is about I expected this to go. Thorpe is nothing more than an AAAA starter, and nothing suggested he'd be real effective in relief, especially medium to high leverage against a really good Yankees lineup.

Its been nice to take advantage of the weak part of it, but schedules are identical and I was saying how i abhor the fact espn gives no love to the twins or indians regardless of what they do

Right..but they are playing the media and East Coast darlings the Yankees...

yea man, id be losing my mind right now...ur team is TOO good to have a pen this pathetic...super frustrating, and i want to win the central as a tribe fan obvi but also root for u guys too (weird dynamic this year i know ha)

Have to do it. It's game one of a three game set and the Twins don't have an off day for a week.

 

And it's not as if Rochester is exactly bursting at the seams with better options should he fail.

welp, Thorpe is no Kimbrel.

Jim is dead, but maybe Otis Thorpe would have been a better call than Lewis??  ;) . granted, he played in the NBA and is 60, but meh
