I was just thinking about this. I want the final out of the World Series (Twins will be at Target Field obviously) to be a fly ball to the outfield, because Provus has the “playable” call I love so much... You know it’s usually just a routine fly ball when he says it’s playable.

...just not a fly ball to Rosario maybe :)

If it's Gladden, I expect to hear "fly ball down the line to left, this'll reach the seats."

I don’t think there’s a trade in place, only that the front office is now clearing the deck for both trades in general and the players they want to add internally for the second half.

Brock -- I don't necessarily disagree with your point. Just kinda makes me wonder. Nothing more than that.

Yeah, I think this FO has no more certainty about how this trade deadline is going to go, than we do. They made 25-man moves according to the major league team's needs, and it happened to leave 40-man spots open. They don't dare select anyone's contract from AAA, because they JUST DON'T KNOW YET.

Assuming that a three-run will be enough, I don’t mind that out by Sano. In the past, after crushing a foul like that, it seems he would have tried to do it again. This time he hit the ball hard the other way, just not quite in the gap.
