Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted May 9, 2019 Posted May 9, 2019 .... and 4 of those are in the last 9 games, and then I was more accurate..... so excuuuuuuuuussssssssseeeeee mmmmmeeeeeeeeee.I wasn't trying to pick on you, just pointing out how memory and perception can lead us down incorrect paths. It's a human condition, not something isolated to you.
twinssporto Verified Member Posted May 9, 2019 Posted May 9, 2019 I'm a little irritated Garver's avg dropped below .350...So frustrating. Sano - hurry up and get here
Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted May 9, 2019 Posted May 9, 2019 Until it isn'tThis team is good. They're not this good, but they're good. This lineup is too deep and there are enough pleasant surprises on the pitching staff to confidently predict nothing less than .500 ball from here on out, which puts them pretty close to 90 wins. In all likelihood, this run will push them north of 90 wins when all is said and done.

Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted May 9, 2019 Posted May 9, 2019 Yeah, barring disaster. This is a Minnesota sports team. I know what I'm getting into.If you know what you're getting into, you know full well that Minnesota sports teams don't collapse in the regular season. That wouldn't be a real gut punch, just a soft boot to the shin. Go big or go home. Epic playoff failure or don't make the playoffs. There is no third option.
David HK Verified Member Posted May 9, 2019 Posted May 9, 2019 Gibby being remarkably efficient tonight. Just under 90 so far, already in the 6th. Wow, so used to seeing that number around inning #3 or 4... So, do you bring him out for one more?
Mill1634 Verified Member Posted May 9, 2019 Author Posted May 9, 2019 Update: KKKKKKKKKKKyle Gibson just set a career record

It's going to be a real squeaker. I don't believe a word of my post by the way...

David HK Verified Member Posted May 9, 2019 Posted May 9, 2019 Blue Jays, Orioles...The Twins really like hitting against birdsYou mean, like this?
Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted May 9, 2019 Posted May 9, 2019 Gibby gotta go 7, with this leadIf anything, the opposite is true. He's dealing but he's valuable going forward. Meanwhile, the bullpen has barely worked in a week and the team has an off day tomorrow.
twinssporto Verified Member Posted May 9, 2019 Posted May 9, 2019 Yeah, barring disaster. This is a Minnesota sports team. I know what I'm getting into. They bought their tickets. They knew what they were getting into...I say, let em' crash.
Gibby Provisional Member Posted May 9, 2019 Posted May 9, 2019 Has Gibson ever had a successful 7th in his career?
Gibby Provisional Member Posted May 9, 2019 Posted May 9, 2019 Whens Tortuga eligable to play?? When his flipper grows back.

Gibby Provisional Member Posted May 9, 2019 Posted May 9, 2019 It's like he met the devil at the crossroads.
Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted May 9, 2019 Posted May 9, 2019 Holy cow, Polanco! I was hopeful you'd have a good season, but 5 for 5 and hitting .344?! That's insanity!
MNT1996 Verified Member Posted May 9, 2019 Posted May 9, 2019 Is Rocco seriously pinch running for Polanco? Cmon man
Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted May 9, 2019 Posted May 9, 2019 Cruz is having a pretty garbage game, which is a funny thing to say when the team is winning 9-1.
mrtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted May 9, 2019 Posted May 9, 2019 When his flipper grows back.Any idea when that will be?
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted May 9, 2019 Posted May 9, 2019 Unless they take him out, Polanco...... there it is..... no chance for 6/6. Silly if you ask me. Day off tomorrow.... no need for rest. 25 year olds must need lots of rest. I guess he is almost 26.
